The 7th International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Informatics (EEI 2025), hosted by Yangzhou University and jointly organized by the School of Information and Artificial Intelligence, the School of Electrical and Energy Engineering, and the School of Mathematical Sciences of Yangzhou University, with IEEE technical support, successfully concluded at the Mingyue Lake Hotel in Yangzhou from November 7th to 9th, 2025! This conference attracted nearly 200 participants and brought together over 30 industry experts to attend the grand event. Experts and scholars from the fields of electronic engineering and informatics at home and abroad gathered together to conduct in-depth exchanges and discussions on the cutting-edge hotspots such as electronic information, intelligent control, robotics technology, artificial intelligence perception and machine learning.

The main venue meeting in the morning was presided over and grandly opened by Pan Jun, the Party Secretary of the School of Information and Artificial Intelligence of Yangzhou University. Professor Han Jie, Vice President of Yangzhou University, and Professor Song Su, former director of the Second and Third Divisions of the Information Department of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, respectively delivered opening remarks, setting a high starting point and standard academic tone for the conference.

Subsequently, under the chairmanship of Professors Zhang Tianping from Yangzhou University, Liu Yurong from Yangzhou University, Tang Yang from East China University of Science and Technology, Zhu Guangyu from Shanxi University and Ding Shihong from Jiangsu University respectively, the five heavyweight keynote speakers delivered the keynote speeches of the conference in turn:
Professor Chen Wenhua from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, an IEEE/IET Fellow, conducted an in-depth analysis on "Analysis and Design of Control Systems under Defects in Artificial Intelligence Perception Systems". Professor Liu Lu from City University of Hong Kong, a national-level young talent, expounds the latest theories and methods of "event-triggered cooperative control of multi-agent systems". Professor Huang Yourui, the president of Anhui Polytechnic University, introduced "Research on Short-circuit Fault Diagnosis of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors Based on Hybrid Intelligent Algorithm".

Professor Liu Honghai from Southeast University, an academician of the European Academy of Sciences and an IEEE/IET Fellow, shared the cutting-edge progress in "Human Behavioral Function Sensing and Smart Healthcare". Professor Zhang Xingyi from Anhui University, an IEEE Fellow and a National high-level talent, delivered a pioneering report titled "Optimization Methods for General Evolutionary Computing: From Algorithmic Recommendation, Hyperparameter Optimization to Algorithmic Generation". The reports of the five experts covered multiple hot topics such as artificial intelligence, smart healthcare, motor diagnosis, collaborative control, and evolutionary computing. They were both theoretically cutting-edge and had potential for technical application. The on-site exchanges were lively and received high praise and positive responses from the scholars present.

The main venue's agenda in the afternoon continued to advance under the strong team of expert hosts. The event will continue to present high-level academic sharing, co-hosted by Professor Zong Guangdeng from Tianjin Polytechnic University, Professor Qiao Jianzhong from Beihang University, Professor Xu Dezhi from Southeast University, Professor Shen Mouquan from Nanjing Tech University, Professor Yang Jian from Beihang University, Professor Zhu Song from China University of Mining and Technology, Professor Chen Jing from Jiangnan University and Professor Gu Zhou from Anhui Polytechnic University.

Professor Peng Chen from Shanghai University first gave an in-depth explanation on the scalable control technology of large-scale networked systems. Subsequently, Professor Chi Ming from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, a national-level high-level talent, introduced the distributed optimal control method for swarm intelligence systems based on machine learning. Professor Shi Peng from the University of Adelaide, a member of the European Academy of Sciences and an IEEE/IET Fellow, shared his research on the security protection of cyber-physical systems in the context of hybrid attacks via online connection. Finally, Professor Zhao Xudong from Dalian University of Technology, a national-level high-level talent, elaborated in detail on the time-driven switching control design of the switching system. The four experts' wonderful reports were rich in content and unique in perspective, bringing profound academic inspiration to the participants.

Immediately after, Researcher Wei Qinglai from the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, a national-level high-level talent, shared the self-learning optimal control of nonlinear systems. Professor Xie Xiangpeng, a national-level young talent from Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Professor Liang Qiaokang, a national-level young talent from Hunan University, and Professor Wang Yulong from Shanghai University respectively gave in-depth lectures on cutting-edge fields such as industrial cyber-physical system modeling, intelligent robot perception technology, and deep learning target recognition for unmanned vehicles. The afternoon agenda was rich in content and the interaction was lively. The oral presentation sessions at the conference's sub-venues brought together outstanding research achievements from multiple universities and research institutions such as Beijing University of Technology, Harbin Institute of Technology, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and Yangzhou University. The poster display and tea break interactive exchange sessions also promoted the collision of academic ideas and opportunities for cooperation.

The conference finally held a grand award ceremony and closing ceremony under the chairmanship of Professor Yi Yang from Yangzhou University. Professor Yi Yang, on behalf of the organizing committee, expressed sincere gratitude to all the experts and scholars for their outstanding contributions and looked forward to continuing to work together in the future to promote the innovative development of the fields of electronic engineering and informatics. The 7th International Conference on Electronic Engineering and Informatics (EEI 2025) not only provides a valuable academic exchange platform for experts in the industry, but also injects new impetus into research and application in related technical fields. Participants all expressed that this conference was highly productive and they look forward to gathering again at EEI next year to jointly promote academic prosperity.
